Faculty Business Processes

Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Business Administration follows various strategic plans and processes to provide quality education. Academic programmes are developed in accordance with national and international standards and are continuously updated. Teaching processes are designed with a focus on student satisfaction and success. In addition, teaching staff are continuously offered professional development opportunities to enhance teaching quality.

The Strategic Plan Commission was established by the Dean’s Office to prepare and monitor the faculty’s strategic plan. This commission ensures the effective implementation of the strategic plan and monitors the processes. Business processes are managed with a performance-oriented approach. With the Public Financial Management and Control Law No. 5018, this new period, which has been implemented in public institutions, evaluates performance-oriented outcomes and outputs rather than processes.

As a research-oriented institution, the faculty supports academic staff in an environment that encourages interdisciplinary work and promotes national/international publications. Research projects are supported by industry collaborations and external funding sources. These processes aim for continuous improvement in knowledge production and scientific contributions.

The faculty management operates effectively and transparently. The Quality Commission and the Assurance of Learning (AOL) Commission carry out quality work within the scope of accreditation and self-assessment. These commissions work to continuously improve business processes and ensure the establishment of the AOL system and the implementation of related activities within the scope of AACSB work.

All these processes are part of the strategic management approach followed to ensure sustainable success and global competitiveness.
