Faculty of Business (FoB), Dokuz Eylul University was established in 1992 as the first higher education institution within the Aegean region of Turkey where the medium of instruction is English. In 1992, Economics and International Relations Departments, in 1994 Tourism Management Department and in 2008, the International Business and Trade Department joined the Faculty of Business.

♦AACSB PROCESS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY 

FoB  initiated the AACSB accreditation process in the fall of 2018 and obtained the title of “Business Education Alliance Member” in June 2019. FoB has been fully accredited by AACSB as of July 20, 2026.

♦ASSOCIATION OF CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANTS (ACCA) ACCREDITATION RENEWED 

The Accounting and Finance -coded ACC and FIN, are accredited by Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2015. The ACCA is renewed for another five-year term starting from 2021.

♦FoB HAS BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE CFA UNIVERSITY AFFILIATION PROGRAM 

The Finance – coded FIN, major (specialization) is affiliated under the CFA University Affiliation Program in Jan 2021.
