Faculty of Business stands out as “increasing awareness in society of inequalities among disadvantaged groups” and “gender equality.” We aim to enhance the existing curriculum about our focus areas. As part of this objective, faculty members will engage in research and projects and organize enlightening series, including seminars, panels, and workshops in relevant fields. We aim to impact 750 students through our curriculum and engage 200 stakeholders, including academic and administrative staff, through activities and scholarships each year. We already have international partners worldwide and aim to expand collaborative activities specifically in these focus areas. We will track our impact over time by measuring the number of students attending the courses, the number of participants in activities, and the number of ongoing projects and publications.
INITIATIVES:
Curriculum: | Currently we have Gender Equality, Women in Business Life, and Gender and Society courses in our curriculum.
We plan to enrich the curriculum by embedding activities related to our focus areas in the Volunteerism Studies course to align our desired impact. |
Scholarship: | Encourage scholarships to be part of activities in line with the impact statement of the Faculty of Business as well as to conduct research and projects that can support disseminating the societal impact. |
Internal and External Engagement Activities: | We will continue the activities stated in Table 1 (panel, seminars, workshops, summit, and student activity). In order to ensure the continuity of such activities, we will put effort into maintaining and building relationships with our partners, including NGOs and stakeholders. |
