ERASMUS +

• EU education program supporting multilateral collaboration among European Higher Education Institutions.
• Promotes student and staff (academic/administrative) exchanges and international projects aligned with EU priorities.
• Aims to enhance the quality of higher education and support European integration.
• Faculty of Business has been implementing Erasmus+ since 2003.
• Welcomed and send around 1500 students from 70 partner universities.

MEVLANA  PROGRAM

• Supports exchange of students and academic staff.
• Established by Turkish Higher Education Council in August 2011.
• Aims to promote Turkish and other cultures; strengthen international cooperation and improve education quality.
• Students: 1 term exchange granted.
• Academic staff: 1-week exchange granted.

DOUBLE DEGREE AGREEMENTS

Signed three double degree agreements with State University of New York, Albany Campus in 2014.
• Covers business, economics, and international relations.
• Study plan:
o Freshman & sophomore years in İzmir.
o Junior & senior years in Albany.
• Students obtain double diploma at the end of the program.

 BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMS (BIP) AND COLLABBORATIVE ONLINE INTERNATIONAL LEARNING ( COIL)

Erasmus program which is in force for 2021-2028 emphasize virtual mobility, blended mobility and diversity.   BIP and COIL are the instruments of blended mobility & virtual mobility. These activities highlight the development of multi-cultural & international learning among the different cultures to provide tolerance to diversities for empowering empathy.

EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITIES IN ASIA 

Asia is an area of interest for many people due to its philosophy, growing economy, culture, way of life, and belief system. Faculty of Business provides exchange opportunity in China and in S. Korea to her scholars & students for almost two decades now. Besides, many scholars and students of the Faculty have the opportunity to attend the summer/ winter schools either online & physically.

NETWORKS

Faculty is member of Nice Network, Businet and NIBS.  Being member of these networks is the consequence of her internalization strategy.   These networks deal with global business education to foster the quality of (international) education.
