The Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Business Advisory Board is one of the key mechanisms that strengthens the faculty’s participatory governance approach and supports stakeholder engagement at the institutional level.
Positioned within the faculty’s administrative and academic governance structure, the Advisory Board contributes to strategic decision-making processes by regularly conveying the views of business representatives, alumni, and relevant stakeholders to the faculty administration.
In line with the decisions taken during Advisory Board meetings and stakeholder feedback, various improvement initiatives are carried out to enhance the faculty’s education, research, and institutional development processes.
Board Meetings:
Since 2023, meetings have been held regularly each year to share the faculty’s activities, evaluate external stakeholder opinions, and identify areas for development in line with a continuous improvement approach.
Feedback obtained from the Board is primarily used as input in decision-making processes on the following issues:
- Updating the faculty’s strategic directions
- Improving program design and learning outcomes
- Strengthening alignment between industry expectations and educational content
- Enhancing university–industry collaborations
- Expanding student internship and career development opportunities
This structure supports the faculty’s stakeholder-oriented management approach and data-driven decision-making culture, contributing to institutional development focused on stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and societal impact in line with YÖKAK and AACSB standards.
