Dokuz Eylül University Business Student Association: Business Club

Official name of the BClub (Business Club) is Dokuz Eylül University Business Student Association. Founded in 1988, the Club organises education and personal development activities for students. Among these, firms visits, which as a series of events, are called “Business Discoveries”, seminars on CV preparation and interview techniques, conferences linking the business environment to academia take the lead. Among the latter, Finance Summit, Marketing Summit and Career Kitchen are traditional series of events, organised on annual basis. Besides, the Club has been publishing the Beyond magazine since 1998, in collaboration with the Aegean Region Young Business Association (EGİAD). Dokuz Eylül University Platform Up International Sustainable Development Student Community

Platform Up is a student community that operates in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to strengthen environmental, social, and economic sustainability. As the first and only International Sustainable Development Student Community in the Aegean Region, it provides an impact-driven space where individuals can design a sustainable future through a solution-oriented approach.

One of Platform Up’s flagship events, the Orange Summit, serves as a significant meeting point that brings together high schools and universities, non-governmental organizations, business professionals, and United Nations agencies participating in the “Orange The World” campaign, held globally between November 25 – December 10.

Another major initiative is the Sustainability Awareness Weeks, a thematic event series designed to raise awareness among participants in environmental, economic, and social sustainability fields within the framework of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Through workshops, panels, and training sessions, it ensures that sustainability topics become more understandable and applicable.
