Since 2016, the DEU Faculty of Business has had a tradition of preparing a well-established strategic plan covering 5-year periods, systematically and sustainably ensuring the participation of all relevant stakeholders, including students, faculty members, administrative staff, alumni, and industry representatives. The second of these plans, the 2021-2025 DEU Faculty of Business Strategic Plan, meticulously covers all processes under the headings of plan preparation stages, stakeholder participation, objectives, overarching policy documents, performance targets, differentiation strategy, stakeholder analysis, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, dissemination of the strategic plan, monitoring, and evaluation of results. The strategic plan period was completed at the end of 2025. This plan, consistent with the content of the University’s 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, aligned with overarching policy documents, and continuously evaluated through stakeholder contributions and participation, focuses on priorities such as international partnerships, industry alignment, sustainability, and the development of research capabilities.

Preparations for the 3rd Strategic Plan (2026-2030) of the DEU Faculty of Business began in 2025. The faculty follows a structured and participatory approach in creating, revising, and updating its strategic plan. In the revision of the strategic plan, the faculty follows a Four-Stage Strategic Planning Process consisting of situation analysis, stakeholder participation, target setting, and monitoring stages to ensure continuous alignment with changing institutional, national, and global trends. This process ensures that internal and external stakeholders make meaningful contributions and are informed about the progress in achieving strategic goals.
Dokuz Eylül University completed its 2026-2030 Strategic Plan in January 2026. In line with this process, the Faculty of Business is also continuing to develop its own strategic plan for the 2026-2030 period. The Faculty of Business has begun preparing a comprehensive strategic plan based on a multi-layered approach, incorporating input from internal and external stakeholders. Work on current situation analyses began in December 2025. Workshops were held with academic and administrative staff in February 2026.
Between April 2026 and May 2026, the Faculty of Business Administration will define its strategic goals, objectives, and performance indicators. This process will be carried out by the Dean’s Office, the Strategic Plan Committee, Department Heads, and Vice Heads. The Strategic Plan will be written in May and June 2026 and finalized with the approval of the Faculty Board in June 2026. The plan will be submitted to the Rectorate for approval on July 1, 2026.
